From Pain and Fatigue to Strength and Freedom

There was a time when I felt completely disconnected from my own body. Despite my training and experience, I struggled with pain, fatigue, and a sense that the approaches I knew just weren’t enough anymore.

What I needed wasn't a harder workout or more visits to the physio and chiropractor. I needed a new way forward. Something more integrated. More intuitive. More sustainable.

So I built it.  .... And it changed everything.

Now, it’s helping others do the same.

I was constantly chasing the latest fitness trends and diets - then getting injured or fed up. Working with Sarah, I realised I could do what I enjoy and keep it balanced. Short, consistent practices made me feel great - and I came back to the programme after trying the gym again. That says a lot.

I live with generalised anxiety. Most mornings I wake thinking something bad will happen … until I do my routine: journal, meditate, stretch, daily exercise. The anxiety subsides, I feel focused, and I can show up for my day and for my daughter.

I have come to recognise that whilst I have always been pretty active, it is only recently that I have become fit! Getting joint issues seemed to be a consequence of being fit and healthy. Now I carry my back pack for several miles without my back complaining.

On walks I knew I was operating at my limit - and not being that kind to my body. Now I carry my back pack for several miles without my back complaining. I can walk uphill further. I’m more flexible. Some of my peers tick me off for showing off at stiles. It’s not deliberate (well it wasn’t to begin with).

I can garden without getting a stiff back (the old Sunday evening recipe of a G and T and two ibuprofen no longer needed) and carry heavier things round the garden and I don’t make that ‘oof’ noise when getting out of a chair.

My enjoyment of the countryside is more untrammelled. I appreciate my body working well for me - my body and I feel like partners not boss and reluctant employee.

I feel positive, and edgy. I have a lot of lovely friends - and they increasingly have unlovely illnesses and life challenges to cope with. I count my blessings.
